A day at the fair

Today mom and I took Lilah to the Valley Christian School fun fair! And it was fun:) This was the preschool booth and Lilah loved it. They had play dough, Mr. potato head, bubbles and a bunch of other fun things to play with.

This lasted all of 3 seconds.

About the birthday post for mom... As we were driving on our way to the airport last week with my mom's sisters one of them asked how her birthday was and how old she was now. She said it was really nice and she was 48. My auntie Deo suddenly said from the front seat "no you're not 48 you're 47!" Mom thought about this for a second and realized she was right! We all got a big kick out of this and had a good laugh at mom's expence;) I guess she just gained back a whole year of her life in one instance.

I'm Back

Wow I can't believe its been over a week since I've been back. The time goes by so fast these days. Mom and I got back from Fort St. John last Sunday. We had a wonderful time and even though I didn't see Lilah on mother's day it was a really good day! I should go away more often. Aaron did really well with Lilah and I don't think she missed me much:( She did ask one morning "when mommy home?"! I missed her. Terry and Hannah's wedding was really beautiful. We didn't get to spend very much time with them and that was too bad but it was really nice catching up with some of my cousins and playing with their kids too! I think because Lilah wasn't there I could really enjoy the other children and not have to worry about chasing her around. It was nice:) Its good to be back though and on with regular life especially with this awesome sunshine! The addition to the house is coming along nicely and I will post more pics of it soon.

Happy 48Th birthday mom! Sorry this is a day late but yesterday was a little busy. We went out for a nice dinner to Presto Cucina than had cake back at home. Today mom and I fly out to Ft. St. John for my cousin Terry's wedding! It will be so nice to spend time with my mom and her sisters without Lilah running around. I'm looking forward to it!

These are the guys that are framing the addition! They all came to the door yesterday and sang "happy birthday" to mom! Quite the hotties I must say;)

The Addition

As some of you already know there is a bit of construction going on here at the farm. It is a "3 car garage" which will be the new store and a suite on top for my brother. Because of the creek and easement on the driveway we can only build longer and not any wider. So instead of being a 75 ft. long house it will now be 120 ft! The existing store/garage will become part of our suite giving us another bedroom, rec room and bathroom! I'm so excited as we are definitely needing some more space and storage.
